About the Role

On behalf of our client in the Banking industry, Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Analyst ready to take on new challenges.

Your Responsibilities

As an Analyst, you will be responsible for:
• Manage the review of employee personal trades and client trading.
• Coordinate and support regulatory audits (CIRO, FINRA).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CIRO, FINRA, SEC, AML rules.
• Update and maintain the firm’s various compliance and AML manuals.
• Handle certain monthly, quarterly, and annual regulatory filings.
• Manage the annual AML examinations and related compliance meetings with employees.
• Oversee the account opening process and obtaining executive approvals.
• Distribute monthly client statements and employee checklists.
• Manage the distribution of firm’s financial statements with clients and counterparties.
• Administer the distribution and collection registered representative forms and acknowledgements.
• Review email and Bloomberg communications for compliance concerns.
• Conduct periodic reviews of compliance communication and employee LinkedIn profiles.
• Coordinate BCP updates and annual CEO certification of BCP testing.
• Respond to client and counterparty due diligence requests.
• Support continuing education program: requirements, communication, tracking.
• Manage office mail and general communications inboxes.
• Assist with FINRA registrations, course additions, and scheduling exams.
• Support provincial registrations and corporate secretary duties.

Your Qualifications

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in compliance, operations, or regulatory affairs in financial services.

Key Skills:
• Strong understanding of CIRO, FINRA, SEC, AML rules.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
