About the Role
On behalf of our client in the Banking industry, Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Developer ready to take on new challenges.
Your Responsibilities
As a Developer, you will be responsible for:
• Combination of hands-on keyboard, interactions with others, strategic conversations.
• Help become cloud native, embrace modern software engineer best practice, help leverage more open source.
• Combination engineering (hands on), strategic view, and people skills.
• Ability to learn and apply what they learn quickly.
• Performance be measured: Standard- mix of deliverables/ verbal feedback
Your Qualifications
Education/Experience:
• Years of experience: 10 years.
Key Skills:
• Must have: Dev ops- CICD, Computer programming/software engineering, GitHub.
• Nice to have: Banking experience/Financial Services/ Large regulated companies, Tools migration (source code and pipelines).
Personal Qualities:
• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Team collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Autonomy and rigor in managing priorities.
