Your mission would be:

• Evaluate, test and qualify our platform’s features and downloadable clients to meet aggressive timelines.
• Troubleshoot, log, document, track and assist the vendor, to resolve technical issues encountered during the Server platform qualification/validation process.
• Provide support to other members of the team (network, products, IT, marketing etc.) on ongoing service issues and project activity.
• Collaborate and proactively provide support to the platform, client and OEM vendors on various project and issue investigations.
• Perform Device certification MCPTT device testing.
• Think out of the box and beyond the traditional test cases to anticipate end-user experiences/situations.
• Diagnose problems and able to conduct and coordinate troubleshooting sessions with vendors, internal teams and customers.
• Solve technical problems timely with vendor.
• Escalate issues (via tickets) to a higher level as needed and ensure follow-up.
• Identify service improvement opportunities during certification and device testing.
• Deploy new features in night maintenance windows.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Bachelor of Applied Science, Engineering Technology diploma or equivalent Bachelor of Science (Math, Comp Sci. etc.).
• Knowledge of Wireless Telecom and a basic understanding of access technologies.
• Experience with mobile and web application QA and device certification.
• Experience in handling, coordination and troubleshooting of operational and QA issues & tickets.
• Knowledge of IP Networking and Troubleshooting (Wireshark, routing / IPv4 & IPv6, load balancers, DNS, etc.).
• Knowledge of the OSI model and networking concepts.
• Ability to focus on multiple tasks concurrently and a strong commitment to execution.
• Strong command of the English language – both written and oral.
• The ability to communicate in French would be an asset.
• Aptitude for quickly learning different vendor technologies and tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
