About the Role
On behalf of our client in the Banking industry, Astek Canada is seeking a motivated Solution Developer ready to take on new challenges.

Your Responsibilities
As a Solution Developer, you will be responsible for:
• Work with Business system analysis to understand requirements and assist in the design of solutions.
• Consume technical specifications/design and turn into working solutions using Databricks, Python, SQL, and SSIS, Perform unit testing on code.
• Participate in code reviews of other developers’ code.
• Attend Agile ceremonies and keep the team updated on progress and blockers of your task.
• Produce documentation on solution and participate in hand over meetings.

Your Qualifications
Education/Experience:
• Computer science or related – Azure certification nice to have.
• 10 Years of experience.
Key Skills:
• Databricks Experience.
• Python Experience..
• Azure data factory Experience
• TSQL Experience.
• GIT Experience.
• Nice to have: SSIS, General Azure Experience, Experience with JIRA/Confluence.

• Analytical and solution-oriented mindset.
• Team collaboration and teamwork skills.
